iGamePad

The iGamePad is a design born from an existing concept, reimagined with a fresh perspective. For this project, I chose to take inspiration from one of Apple’s most renowned designers, Jonathan Ive. His original design of the Apple iPod has always fascinated me-its simplicity, elegance, and seamless user experience make it a true icon of industrial design. When tasked with developing a new product, I decided to use his design language as my primary reference style.

My iGamePad maintains the exact curvature of the original iPod, staying true to its iconic shape. The buttons have been carefully designed to match their original size, preserving the authentic feel of the device. To bring this concept to life, I leveraged modern design techniques, modeling the entire product in 3D software before bringing it into the physical world. The prototype was created using a 3D printer, ensuring precision in every detail. After printing, each part was carefully assembled and finished in the correct colors to achieve a polished, high-quality look.

This project showcases my ability to blend nostalgia with innovation, combining classic design elements with modern technology to create something unique.
